My newest toy: A Milan velomobile from Räderwerk. Due to its outstanding aerodynamic property’s, the Milan is arguably the fastest production velomobile available.
Since I’ve dumped my last car about 20 years ago, my preferred modes of transportation where a taxi or public transport and for the last six years, a ICE Sprint recumbent tricycle.
While a recumbent trike is great fun, cycling in Autumn and Winter has its downsides.
A fully enclosed velomobile protects from rain and cold (it gets pretty warm inside) and extends my possible cycling range considerably.
